What is your refund policy?
There will be no refunds issued on any Bela & Co Products, unless otherwise indicated by Bela & Co or where alternative arrangements have been discussed with a Bela & Co representative. We regret no credit notes.

What is your exchange policy?
You are welcome to exchange full-price merchandise. Items must be returned in the same condition that they were dispatched in. No exchanges are possible for any sale items.

What happens if I ordered the incorrect size?
Should your sizing be incorrect (on full-price items only), please notify Bela & Co within 48 hours of receiving the item/s by sending an email to shop@bela.co.za requesting an exchange for a different size. Please bear in mind that we can’t guarantee that we will have the same style in the alternative size that you request. Items must be returned in the same condition that they were dispatched in.

What do I do if I received a damaged pair?
We take pride in performing intensive quality-control checks before shipping any of our merchandise to our customers and we take great care with our packaging to prevent damage occurring in transit. However, should you receive a damaged pair, please contact us immediately by sending an email to shop@bela.co.za and ensure that you provide detailed information and images of the damage. We will then advise further. Please note that if any items deemed “defective” are returned, this will not automatically result in a refund or exchange. If the item was found to have been worn or the item was damaged due to negligence, Bela & Co reserves the right to return the item to the client, cost to the client.
DISCLAIMER: If the items do not match the image provided online, this is not a criteria for “defective or damaged merchandise.” We proudly craft our merchandise by hand, which means that a slight variation of colour, beading and/or embroidery on our shoes could happen.

To return a product for exchange, please follow the instructions below:
• Drop us an email at shop@bela.co.za
• In your email, please include your reason for exchange and attach a copy of the payment confirmation you received when placing your order.

You will then receive a response email:
• confirming/declining the exchange
• the availability of the items the customer would like to exchange for
• a return address

Our policy allows for one free courier charge for items returned/exchanged from us (once we have received your exchange items) within this period; thereafter, you will be billed accordingly for additional courier charges for further exchanges required. For this reason, we urge you to pay careful attention to our sizing suggestions so that you place the right order the first time. The sooner you’re able to enjoy your shoes, the happier we all are!

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Return & Exchange Policy outside of South Africa

Unfortunately, due to the logistics of international shipping, no refunds, returns or exchanges are possible for our international clients. Therefore, please get in touch with us BEFORE placing your order so that we can assist you in being 100% certain that you are purchasing the correct size. We will not be able to process any exchanges, returns or refunds, so you must be completely sure that you are ordering the right size. We are happy to help you, so please pop us a message.
